Great compact multimeter. It loses one star just because it isn't True-RMS, which I occasionally need for variable speed drives, but for standard continuity and voltage checks, it's unbeatable.

Very handy pocket multimeter. The test leads are decent quality, though I might upgrade them to silicone ones later. The meter itself is robust and survived a drop off my stepladder yesterday.
Operating Instructions
- Ensure the multimeter is turned on by rotating the central dial to your required measurement (e.g., V for Voltage, Ω for Resistance).
- Connect the black test lead to the COM jack and the red test lead to the appropriate input jack for your test.
- To test continuity, turn the dial to the continuity symbol. Touch the probes to the circuit; a continuous beep indicates a closed circuit.
- If you need to know how to test capacitance with a multimeter, discharge the capacitor first, switch the dial to the capacitance setting, and apply the probes to the capacitor terminals.
- Use the SmartStrap™ to hang the meter magnetically to a panel door for safe, two-handed testing.
